Jim Hengelbrok

Jim has had a lifelong interest in birds. He moved to Tampa in the 1970s to join a nonprofit law firm providing pro bono services to low income persons. After raising four children (including two Eagle Scouts) with his wife, he decided it was  time to get more serious about birding. He joined Tampa Audubon in 2016 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Jim enjoys the social aspects of birding, including learning from some very good birders, but he finds it impossible to pick a favorite bird -- he loves them all!
