Established in the 1940s and incorporated in 1972, we are an active chapter that serves the greater Tampa Bay and Brandon areas and its suburbs. Our mission is to conserve and restore our ecosystems, focusing on birds, wildlife, and their habitats, through education, advocacy, and community involvement.

Project BUR-O: Help Burrowing Owls!

We are grateful to Tampa Bay Estuary Program (TBEP) for awarding Tampa Audubon a mini-grant to support Project BUR-O. Please help us show our thanks by supporting TBEP's many important projects funded through the sale of the Tarpon Tag specialty license plate. Your tag purchase helps restore the Tampa Bay estuary. To learn more, click on the license plate image above!
You can help us help the owls by donating today! Please consider making your gift a monthly donation. Your donation will go towards purchasing supplies to build artificial burrows, signage to protect sensitive areas and existing burrows, education initiatives for the community, and burrow monitoring activities.
