Volunteers Needed for Florida Birding & Nature Festival in April

Volunteer for the Florida Birding & Nature Festival in Apollo Beach and Sun City Center on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11, 2026.

Most shifts are approximately 3 hours, and you can volunteer multiple days and for multiple shifts. If you need to stay seated, grab the Registration Worker spot or evening Ticket Checker spot. Morning and afternoon Ticket Checkers only work for about 20 minutes per hour.

Day shifts get a free lunch and access to seminars outside of their work shift(s). Evening shifts get a free buffet meal and can attend the Keynote presentation when they're not needed.

Locations:  

Day shifts are at the Suncoast Youth Conservation Center at 6650 Dickman Rd in Apollo Beach, FL 33572. 

Evening shifts are at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church at 1239 W Del Webb Blvd, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
