Hello everyone! 

It is hard to believe that it will soon be time for the 2026 Bluebird Nesting season to begin! If you would like to sponsor one of the 56 boxes on the Flatwoods Bluebird Trail this year, now is the time to sign up! Nesting season is from March to August and sponsors will receive a weekly activity report for not only their box, but for all the boxes, including the number of eggs, chicks, and fledglings in each box.

Your sponsorship money enables us to buy supplies, and with the help of our volunteers, make any needed repairs to our boxes and predator guards. Keeping the boxes in good shape ensures our birds have dry, safe places to raise their chicks. Additionally, the sponsorship money pays for things like educational brochures to inform park-goers about the nature the Flatwoods Conservation Trail has to offer!

You can sponsor a box for $10 each. 

To sponsor a box or boxes, complete the sponsorship form on the Tampa Audubon Society website: tampaaudubon.org/bluebird-boxes.  Click on “Sponsor a Nest Box” to apply online or apply by downloading and mailing this PDF.

*Please Note: Each sponsor will be limited to one box per individual.  You may also sponsor a box or boxes for family members, friends, etc., but each box must have a unique email address associated with it.
