Starting in January, the Photo Club will go 100% virtual. The meetings will be held via Zoom the third Thursday of every month starting at 7 pm. This change should allow for more participation from those who cannot attend in person but can attend virtually. This change does not affect the regular TAS meeting which will continue to be held at its regular time on the first Thursday of the month.
The TAS Photo Club is a venue for the many talented photographers in our area to share photos of birds and other wildlife photographed in Florida. Each photographer gets about five minutes to share five to ten photos, and to tell the story behind the photos. What is the subject of the photograph? When did you take it? Does the photo tell a story? What challenges did you face in the field to take the photo? How did you post-process the photo? What can others learn from your experience taking this photo?
We hope this change will be met with success and you’ll join us during our first 100% virtual meeting on Thursday, January 18. To share your photos with the Photo Club, click here to upload your photos. Be sure to upload your photos at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.
Photos must be JPGs. Do not include them in Word, PowerPoint or any other file format. Label the beginning of each photo file with your name, such as Smith_Spoonbill, Smith_Warbler so that we know who the photo belongs to.
