Join conservationist Anita Camacho as she presents Re-wild all landscapes – Simply Plant Florida Natives. During her presentation, she explores how every landscape, from a backyard to a corporate campus, can become vital habitat by choosing Florida native plants. Discover how native plants support everything from insects and pollinators to birds and, ultimately, people, while learning about the conservation work of Little Red Wagon Native Nursery, Butterfly Tampa, and the Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation.
Anita is a conservationist, educator, and owner of Little Red Wagon Native Nursery, Tampa's only Florida native plant nursery. As founder and president of the Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation, she works to restore native habitats through education, research, and community partnerships, demonstrating how native plants are the foundation of healthy ecosystems that support butterflies, pollinators, birds, and, ultimately, people. Anita's passion is helping others reconnect with nature by transforming everyday landscapes into thriving wildlife habitats.
