Tammy Lyons

Tammy joined TAS in 1988 shortly after moving to Tampa from the Midwest to get more involved in the local conservation community. She has been on the Board of Directors off and on since May 2008, serving as Vice President from 2008 to 2013 and 2020 to 2023.  Birding has always been an enjoyable part of her profession as an ecologist. Her favorite bird is the roseate spoonbill, because it is such an iconic Florida bird that brightens up the landscape.
