Mic McCarty

Mic joined TAS in 2013 and now sits on the Board of Directors. He serves as our Field Trip Coordinator. Mic grew up in central Florida, so he knows our area and its wildlife. He is a former military pilot who still teaches kids how to fly in summer camps, and is currently a middle school teacher. He has been birding, leading field trips and taking great photos for 5 years with Tampa Audubon. He’s also active with Christmas Bird Counts, Nest Watch and more.
