It was overcast and cold, but we still had a spectacular morning of birding at Bahia Beach Nature Preserve on Jan. 11.  Most of the group saw, YES – SAW, an American Bittern, Sora, and Virginia Rail.  The eBird checklist can be seen here.

Every month, on the Second Saturday at 9 a.m., Tampa Audubon leads a Beginning Birding Field Trip at Lettuce Lake Conservation Park in northeast Tampa. These folks were there for a fun walk on January 13. The eBird checklist can be seen here.
