ABOUT US
Tampa Audubon society was established in the 1940's. As the Tampa Bay community has grown, so have the challenges we, as a community face for a sustainable future. TAS is working to accomplish its mission by promoting environmental education through sponsorship of various community events. To further this mission TAS:
• Conducts meetings 8 times per year. Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday evening of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Century Buick and feature ecologists, scientists, and policy makers of national recognition and are free and open to the public.
• Conducts field trips to regional, national, and international sites of ecological significance - recent sites have included Belize, the Dry Tortugas, Lettace Lake, and Payne's Prairie, Lake Kissimmee, and IMC reclaimation projects.
• Board Meetings
The next board meeting will be held on July 10th, 6:30 pm at the Century Buick Training Room, 3308 W.Hillsborough Ave. (2 blocks east of N. Dale Mabry Hwy., corner of W. Hillsborough Ave. and N. Lincoln Ave.)
Tampa Audubon Society Meetings are free and open to the public.

Tampa Audubon Society does not contract with any professional solicitor and 100% of every contribution is used to support our environmental education initiatives.
Membership and contributions to Tampa Audubon Society are tax deductible as allowed by law and donations of $250.00 or greater will be acknowledged in writing. The IRS letter of designation is available upon request from Tampa Audubon Society.
